I drive a '79 GMC 4x4 full-size pickup with a 350 engine, 373 gear ratios, and over 100,000 miles on it. I go fishing on weekends up at Huntington Lake. I pull a 14 foot Gregor fishing boat on a trailer. I keep my truck in top notch shape and regularly service it with tune-ups and oil changes. I have made this trek many times and I have always used 3/4 of a tank of gas on every trip.
 
Not long ago I put an 8 ounce bottle of Maxilube in my engine oil, and on the first trip up to Huntington Lake it only used 1/2 of a tank. Wow! What a difference!
